Bestselling author, Sophie Kinsella, passsed away on December 10, 2025, of a brain tumor. She was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2022 and underwent neurosurgery. She was 55 years old. Kinsella is best known for her Shopaholic series of novels, the first two, The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic and Shopaholic Abroad were adapted for film under the title Confessions of a Shopaholic. She leaves behind husband, Henry Wickham, and five children.
