Read. Discuss. Repeat.

Take your reading to the next level by joining with a community of local readers.

Chat ‘n’ Chew

Join our Chat ‘n’ Chew Book Club. Bring a lunch and discuss books you’ve read recently. There’s no assigned reading, so you get to read what you want! New members are always welcome. Check our calendar for dates.

Diversity Reads

Don’t want to attend a traditional book club meeting? Join our Diversity Read book club. Each month offers three books on a topic geared towards adults, young adults, and children. This is a passive reading group where readers can engage with the books however they choose. Use the questions that come with each book to discuss the work with family and friends. Post online using #diversityreads to engage with others. Books are available near the main desk.

Over the Rainbow

You are invited to join us for our Over the Rainbow Book Group . This Adult book group will explore works of both fiction and nonfiction written by LGBTQ+ authors or with LGBTQ+ themes. Check the calendar for dates, or see the Schedule and Titles.

Read in Peace: Silent Book Club

Would you just *kill* for some quiet reading time? Join our Silent Book Club for one hour of uninterrupted literary enjoyment. No murder necessary! We meet from 6-7pm on the Second Tuesday of the Month in the Lower Level Reading Area. Bring your own book, or grab something promising on your way in!

Run Your Own

The library can support community book clubs by providing book recommendations and lists; helping book club coordinators access multiple copies of books; providing many formats (paper, ebook, audiobooks, etc.); and offering meeting spaces. Contact our librarians to find out what we can do for you.
