Read. Discuss. Repeat.

Take your reading to the next level by joining a community of local readers.

National Treasures

Join us for the National Treasures book discussion group, where we read classic American literature through the ages. Revisit those high school cornerstones to see if they’re any different than you remember. Or, if you haven’t read them before, see what all the fuss is about! National Treasures meets monthly. Books can be picked up at the Circulation desk. Visit our events calendar for dates and to see which book we’re reading each month. If you have any questions, please reach out to Dan at dboudreau@hopkintonma.gov

Diversity Reads

Don’t want to attend a traditional book club meeting? Join our Diversity Read book club. Each month offers three books on a topic geared towards adults, young adults, and children. This is a passive reading group where readers can engage with the books however they choose. Use the questions that come with each book to discuss the work with family and friends. Post online using #diversityreads to engage with others. Books are available near the main desk.

Run Your Own

The library can support community book clubs by providing book recommendations and lists; helping book club coordinators access multiple copies of books; providing many formats (paper, ebook, audiobooks, etc.); and offering meeting spaces. Contact our librarians to find out what we can do for you.
