Explore Hopkinton’s History

The Hopkinton Public Library hosts special collections relating to local history and genealogy.

Researchers who wish to use the materials in the local history room must consult with the Adult Services Librarian or a designated staff member. You are encouraged to make an appointment by calling 508-497-9777 or by emailing Dan Boudreau at dboudreau@hopkintonma.gov.

Local History Room

The local history collection includes manuscripts, photographs, newspapers, pamphlets, books, maps, and artifacts. These materials have been collected for many years and are indexed in a Finding Aid by Hopkinton Library’s former archivist, Linda Connelly. If you would like to explore our collections, please email our Adult Services Librarian, Dan Boudreau at dboudreau@hopkintonma.gov
