Massachusetts residents may obtain a library card to borrow materials from the library and to reserve discounted Adventure Passes. To get a library card, stop by the circulation desk and fill out a form. Adults will need to provide a picture ID and confirmation of their current address. If your picture ID does not have your current address, please bring a bill or other official document mailed to you at your home, a lease or mortgage, or another document that can confirm your current address.
Adults, 18 years and older: picture ID and confirmation of current address required
Teens, 16-18 years: picture ID required
Teens, 13-15 years: No ID required
Children, 5-12 years: Parent or guardian, with their ID or library card required
Hopkinton Public Library provides various age-appropriate children’s programs such as storytimes, crafts, and workshops that are both fun and educational. Programs such as Baby Lapsit, Toddler Time, and Family Storytime are popular. Special events like the Summer Reading Program, holiday-themed events, and author visits are also offered. Children’s computers on the Upper Level are coming soon! You will need your library card number, or a guest pass from one of our public service desks, to log in.
Computer sessions last one hour. Each workstation is equipped with Microsoft Office products and has Internet access. If you need any assistance using our computers, please ask a staff member.
