What is Teen-Led Programs?

Teen-Led Programs is an opportunity for teens in the Hopkinton, MA community to create and lead their very own program idea at the Hopkinton Public Library.

Do you love art and want to get younger kids interested? Are you a history buff and want to help others with their homework? Or are experiments your passion? Read below to learn more!

How it works

If you have any questions during the application or planning process, the Young Adult Librarian and the Youth Services Supervisor are happy to help in-person or by email at hplys@hopkinma.gov.


Are you eligible?

✔ Are aged 14 or older. High School Seniors aged 18 must pass a CORI check.
✔ Must live or attend school in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
✔ Have a CWMARS library card in good standing.

Ready to tell us your idea? Download and complete the Application document. Once complete, email hplys@hopkinma.gov or bring in-person to the Young Adult Librarian or Youth Services Supervisor.

Accessibility Note

Applicants may submit their application in an alternative format such as in-person, video, or audio. In-person submissions must confirm a date and time to meet with the Young Adult Librarian or the Youth Services Supervisor.

Deadlines

Submit program ideas by the below deadlines for the adjacent program season. Applications are reviewed within 2 weeks of application deadlines.
