Connor Degan grew up in Hopkinton and attended Hopkinton Public Schools before attending Roger Williams University, graduating with a degree in political science. Connor has a deep passion for history, government, and public service that he applies to his position as the Clerk of the Town of Hopkinton, where he has served since 2016.
As Town Clerk, he is responsible for a wide range of duties essential to the functioning of local government, from maintaining historic town records to overseeing elections. He is known for his approachable demeanor and willingness to help residents navigate local government. He strives to provide excellent service to residents while upholding the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
Beyond his official duties, Connor is actively involved in community initiatives aimed at fostering civic engagement and enhancing quality of life for his fellow residents. Whether he is organizing a voter registration drive or teaching local students about town government, Connor is dedicated to making a positive impact on the community he has always called home.
